We believe that changing the way we produce and distribute food is fundamental to solving the world’s most pressing social and ecological problems.
We are a community-supported market garden, located in Salle, Norfolk. We grow salad, vegetables and herbs on a site at Salle Moor Hall Farm and supply them to our community through our weekly veg box scheme. All produce is grown without chemicals, using sustainable farming practices that protect nature and maximise biodiversity.
As one of a growing number of community supported farms (CSAs) across the UK, we aim to connect our customers to where their food comes from and how it is produced. Our members sign up for the growing season with us and receive a weekly share of the harvest.
We pay our suppliers at least 50% of the retail value for any products we buy in, and when dealing with wholesalers, we check to make sure they pay fair prices to their growers.
Local food supports local economies. Food grown in the local community supports local jobs and encourages variety in our diets. It also requires less transportation, so it's fresher and has a smaller environmental footprint.
Less packaging, less waste, best nutrition, best for the land AND the added bonus that we get them delivered by our friends and can feel all the love that has been poured into the whole box of goodness
